Pretty larimar beaded necklace made up of 4mm multi-color larimar beads. The beads are faceted and catch the light in beautiful and sparkly ways. They are small enough to fit through the bail of some pendants. Finished with a 2-inch extender on one end and a lobster clasp on the other. All metal is solid 925 sterling silver.
Larimar, also called "Stefilia's Stone", "Atlantis Stone" and the Caribbean Gem. It is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic. Larimar is a much sought-after stone. The mine is currently closed with no reopening date yet. The blue and white marbled patterns in Larimar resemble sunlight reflections through crystal clear water onto a sandy beach. Larimar is like tropical water solidified!
