Beautiful orange spiny oyster shell flower pendant. This spiny oyster has vibrant orange color with lines of red, white, and a hint of purple. It is set in a silver bezel and surrounded by silver beaded wire accents and a silver flower. The bail of the pendant is made up of a stamped spinning ring - great for fidgety fingers. All metal is solid 925 sterling silver.

In ancient South American cultures, spiny oyster shells were more valuable than gold and silver. Only Shamans or elders were allowed to wear or use them. Spiny oyster shells are tough to harvest and polish which makes spiny oysters much sought after by collectors.
