Beautiful Lavender and gray beach glass sterling silver pendant. The Lavender glass was found on a beach in California and the two pieces of white-gray glass were found on beaches of Kauai, Hawaii. They all have a beautiful frosty uneven texture, C-marks, and divots that are characteristics of authentic sea glass. Accented with silver rope and granules around the glass. All metal is solid 925 sterling silver.
Sea glass is nature’s way of turning discarded glass into something beautiful. Formed from broken bottles and glassware that have been tumbled by the ocean’s waves for decades, sea glass develops a smooth, frosted appearance. Purple sea glass is rare. Its origin was most likely from depression era glassware, vases, or art glass. The two pieces of white-gray sea glass were probably from a window or mason jar. Sea glass is a symbol of renewal and the beauty of imperfection. Each piece tells a story of time and transformation.
Matching Lavender sea glass ring and amethyst beaded necklaces are available separately.
