Red heart-shaped spiny oyster shell pendant necklace. Spiny oyster is found in warm waters like those in the Gulf of Mexico and along the coasts of North America and the waters of South America. Spiny oyster has been used by Native Americans since pre-historic times. I set this red heart in sterling silver and accented it with silver granules around the stone. The bail on the pendant is made up of a spinning ring - great for fidgety fingers. All metal is solid 925 sterling silver.
