Larimar, also called "Stefilia's Stone", "Atlantis Stone" and the Caribbean Gem. It is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic. Larimar is a much sought after stone. Most of it has already been extracted from the mines and there isn't much left. The blue and white marbled patterns in Larimar resemble sunlight reflections through crystal clear water onto a sandy beach. Larimar is like tropical water solidified!
